Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Bradford is seeking a Locum Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Urology to join a team of 34 consultants. The post involves participation in the NVIR on-call rota and interventional reporting using US, CT and fluoroscopy, with opportunities for home reporting and flexible hours where service permits.

The successful applicant will contribute to MDTs, supervise trainees and support general acute service duties, including nephrostomy

Qualifications

• Evidence of completing an approved period of training in Radiology.
• Developing special interest or additional training in radiology (research/education/clinical management).

Responsibilities

• Join a team of consultants and contribute to non-vascular interventional on-call rota (NVIR) with 1:10 duty.
• Report acute and specialty cases using PACS (AGFA EI) with designated reporting baskets.
• Attend and contribute to Stone MDT, Urology Cancer MDT and related uro-interventions including nephrostomy and PCNL.
• Provide teaching and supervision to trainees; mentor as Clinical Supervisors where appropriate.
