Pulse Healthcare Limited is seeking a Band 4 Locum Associate Practitioner in Histology to join our Somerset team. This full-time, ongoing role offers core hours and an hourly rate of £15–£16, with start ASAP to support a busy, well-established laboratory service.

You will process tissue samples, perform microtomy and staining, and support pathologists in diagnostic reporting. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork and clear communication within an NHS environment and local lab protocols.

Competenze

• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory
• Experience with microtomy and staining techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• NHS experience (required)

Mansioni

• You will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, and stain slides for microscopic examination.
• You will support pathologists in diagnostic reporting.
