Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Locum Histology Band 4 Associate Practitioner for the North East England region. The role is based in Middlesborough and is a full-time, ongoing position with core hours.

You will process tissue samples, perform microtomy and staining, and assist pathologists with diagnostic reporting. The ideal candidate holds a Biomedical Science degree, has histology experience in a clinical lab, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration not required.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory
• Experience with microtomy and staining techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• NHS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Process and embed tissue samples.
