Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a proactive Healthcare Assistant to support a GP practice in Cheadle. The role involves clinical observations, patient assessments, and assisting in the treatment room to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care delivery. Qualifications

• HCA experience in primary care or NHS.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Comfortable carrying out clinical observations.
• Basic IT competence for clinical system documentation.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Performing observations including BP, pulse, temperature and oxygen saturation.
• Supporting with treatment room procedures.
• Phlebotomy and sample handling (if trained).
• Completing ECGs and assisting with routine patient assessments.
• Providing lifestyle advice and supporting health promotion.
• Updating patient records accurately in the clinical system.
• Assisting clinicians with general tasks as required.
