Job summary

Pulse Staffing Limited is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist for a Haematology position in Cumbria. The role is full-time and ongoing, with core hours and an immediate start.

You will work in a busy laboratory, performing FBCs, coagulation tests and blood film morphology, with a focus on accuracy and quality control. The ideal candidate will hold HCPC registration, a Biomedical Science degree, NHS laboratory experience, and be proficient with Sysmex analysers, Telepath LIMS, and Ortho

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent is essential.
• NHS laboratory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform full blood counts, coagulation studies and blood film morphology.
• Maintain quality control and participate in ongoing QC processes.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely reporting.
