Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology to join a busy North Yorkshire laboratory on a full-time, ongoing basis. The role is core hours only with an hourly rate between £22 and £26, offering stability in a well-established service.

You will perform full blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood film morphology, ensuring accurate analysis, quality control, and collaboration with clinical teams. NHS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• Experience in Haematology within a clinical laboratory.
• NHS experience preferred.
• Good analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform full blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood film morphology.
• Ensure accurate analysis, maintain QC, and collaborate with clinical teams.
