Job summary

Pulse Healthcare Limited is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specializing in Haematology and Blood Transfusion to join our client’s Cumbria laboratory. This full-time role is based in Cumbria, with core hours and an ongoing assignment, offering a competitive hourly rate and a busy, well-established service ethos.

The ideal candidate will hold HCPC registration, a Biomedical Science degree, NHS experience, and be proficient with Sysmex XN/CN analysers and Telepath LIMS.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and Biomedical Science degree or equivalent.
• UK NHS experience in a clinical haematology/blood transfusion lab.
• Experience with Sysmex XN/CN analysers and Ortho Vision TelePath LIMS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
