Responsibilities

• Provide the practice population with medical services and a high standard of clinical care.
• Work autonomously as the practice GP.
• Carry out face-to-face consultations.
• Carry out telephone consultations.
• Make home visits, up to two a day.
• Sign prescriptions.
• Deal with queries, paperwork and correspondence.
• Manage your own time, workload and resources.
• Help maintain QOF scores, including targeted clinics or audits where required.

Sessions fall on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with up to two home visits a day, in a practice within a purpose-built medical centre shared with five others. Full GMC registration, CCT or JCPTGP evidence and performers list registration are required.
