Cumberland House Surgery in Macclesfield is seeking a GP locum to cover maternity leave for 26 weeks from late December 2026. The role involves six clinical sessions per week, face-to-face and phone consultations, home visits, prescriptions and correspondence within a busy practice.

Full GMC registration, CCT or JCPTGP evidence and performers list registration are required; the post offers autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to QOF within a purpose-built medical centre shared with five

• Qualified GP with evidence of CCT or JCPTGP.
• Full GMC registration.
• Performers list registration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide the practice population with medical services and a high standard of clinical care.
• Work autonomously as the practice GP.
• Carry out face-to-face consultations.
• Carry out telephone consultations.
• Make home visits, up to two a day.
• Sign prescriptions.
• Deal with queries, paperwork and correspondence.
• Manage your own time, workload and resources.
• Help maintain QOF scores, including targeted clinics or audits where required.
