Job summary

Menlo Park Recruitment is sourcing a Locum GP to cover December and January in a friendly coastal practice in South Cornwall. Typical day runs 8:30–5:30 with 23–25 patients daily, including 10-minute urgent/telephone and 15-minute routine appointments.

MDT includes ANPs, Pharmacists, Physiotherapist and Social Prescribers; EMIS and Klinik triage in use; CQC rating Good. There is a structured day with admin time, potential duty sessions for enhanced rates, and minimal home visits, supported by a

Qualifications

• Qualified as a General Practitioner with GMC registration.
• Registered on the UK Performer List or equivalent.
• Experience in primary care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover for December and January as Locum GP.
• Manage 23–25 patients per day with 10-minute urgent/telephone and 15-minute routine slots.
• Participate in MDT with ANPs, Pharmacists, Physiotherapist and Social Prescribers.
• Utilise EMIS and Klinik triage for workload management.
• Protect admin time within structured day; minimal home visits.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a Locum GP to provide cover throughout December and January within a friendly and well-organised coastal practice in South Cornwall. With a strong multidisciplinary team and efficient triage processes in place, this role offers a smooth and well-supported working environment. Typical hours being between 8:30-5:30 there are no late evenings.
