Job summary

Menlo Park Recruitment is seeking a General Practitioner to provide locum cover in a friendly, semi-rural training practice in Mid Devon. Sessions are ad hoc during the Christmas period, with no duty commitment and built-in admin time.

You will see 12 patients per session in 15-minute slots, 8.30am–6pm, with potential for ongoing ad hoc dates. Applicants must be GMC registered and eligible for UK Performers List.

Qualifications

• Qualified General Practitioner with GMC registration.
• Available for Christmas holiday period dates on an ad hoc basis.
• Experience in primary care settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP coverage for sessions during the Christmas period.
• 12 patients per session with 15-minute appointments.
• Minimal duty commitments with built-in admin and signing tasks if time allows.

Background

We are working with a friendly, well-established training practice in the Mid Devon area, within easy reach of Exeter and the M5. They are looking for locum GP support for key dates in the Christmas holiday period, with potential ad hoc dates ongoing. These are ad hoc sessions with no duty commitment. They suit a locum who wants a well-organised day in a supportive, semi-rural setting.

Experienced team including GP partners, a Nurse Practitioner, practice nurses, HCAs and a clinical pharmacist

Wider PCN support from social prescribers, first contact physio and mental health practitioners

Your role
