Locum Ready is seeking a General Practitioner to provide flexible, well-organised GP sessions at a Southsea practice. The role offers a supportive primary care environment with clear daily clinical workflows and robust administrative support.

You will manage a varied caseload, perform patient assessments, and deliver continuity where required, with ongoing bookings and potential for long-term arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must be GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Active inclusion on NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
