Job summary

Menlo Park Adult Social Care is seeking a locum GP for Workington to cover October half term and the Christmas/New Year period. The role requires GMC registration and inclusion on the UK Performer’s List, with EMIS as the practice system.

Sessions run 8:30–6:30 with a coastal location near the Lake District. Expect 15–17 patient contacts per session, including 15-minute face-to-face and 10-minute telephone appointments.

Qualifications

• Qualified General Practitioner registered with the GMC.
• UK Performer’s List registration is required.
• Experience with GP locum cover desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP cover for October half term and Christmas/New Year period.
• Handle 15–17 patient contacts per session with 15-minute face-to-face and 10-minute telephone appointments.
• Support with Shared Admin tasks as required.

Background –

A forward-thinking practice in Workington needs locum GP cover for October half term, and again over the Christmas and New Year period.

The practice will be needing Shared Admin support and is open to reviewing whatever availability you have over these periods, so please do get in touch ASAP to discuss.

Salary –

£700 – 750 per day
