Job summary

Locum GP opportunity near Westbury with Menlo Park Adult Social Care. Regular cover until mid-November, ideally Thursdays and Fridays, with some flexibility for additional days. Focus on clinical appointments, mostly acute, with self-generated admin and no home visits.

Sessions comprise two 4-hour blocks, hours 8:30–17:30, typically 15 patients per session; mix of face-to-face and telephone appointments. GMC registered GP required, UK performers list inclusion preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a General Practitioner and GMC registered.
• UK performers list registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP clinical appointments, predominantly acute, during session blocks.
• No home visits, shared admin or duty rota.
• Available Thursdays and Fridays with some flexibility.

This is a great opportunity for a Locum GP to join a highly respected GP practice on a regular basis until mid-November. The practice is ideally looking for a degree of continuity with required days being Thursdays and Fridays but may be able to offer some flexibility around other days. It’s an opportunity to focus purely on clinical appointments, predominantly acute, on the day presentations and self-generated admin with no expectation around any home visits, shared practice admin or Duty rota. The Practice

• Very Forward-thinking and passionate practice
• Strong CQC history
• Work alongside a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team (including GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, Pharmacy Techs, etc)
• SystmOne practice
• Flexible around hours

Your Role

• Required days - Thursday and Friday
• Sessions are: 2 x 4 hour sessions
• Hours between 8:30-5:30 with flexibility on exact start/finish times within these hours
• 15 patients per session
• Face-to-face and telephone appointments
• No home visits, shared admin or duty expectation
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
