Job summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for two newly created consultant posts in Gastroenterology based at William Harvey Hospital. You will join a team of 8 full-time consultants as we expand subspecialisation and services across Ashford and Margate.

The role includes two OPD clinics per week (face to face and telephone), two general endoscopy lists, and a leadership/special interest session with SPA support for revalidation and service development.

Responsibilities

• Provide two outpatient clinics per week (face to face and telephone).
• Deliver two general endoscopy lists weekly.
• Lead a specialist interest and/or leadership activity with SPA support for revalidation and service development.
• Potentially fulfil some elective clinical commitments on other sites within the Trust.
