Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work across a Lewes GP practice. This role suits GPs seeking flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment.

You will manage a varied caseload, conduct routine and urgent clinics, provide telephone triage, review results and document consultations in the clinical system, with strong administrative support and clear workflows.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List
• Recent UK primary care experience
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries, prescribing safely and appropriately
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks
