We are seeking a qualified and experienced Consultant Physician / Geriatrician to join our team at Borders General Hospital. • Basic Salary: £107,144 - £142,369 per annum
• Fixed term from 1st June to 31st October 2025
• Full-time (10 P.A.s)

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the general care of elderly patients, collaborating closely with GPs and healthcare teams, and leading in the development of specialist services as per their interests and service needs. They will also support the move towards integrated care for the Scottish Borders.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess full GMC Registration and be on the Specialist Register for Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine, or be within six months of receiving their CCT or equivalent at the time of interview.
