Position Details

  • Salary: £107,144 - £142,369 per annum
  • Duration: Fixed term from 1st June to 31st October 2025
  • Hours: Full Time (10 P.A.s)

The Role

We are seeking a Consultant Physician/Geriatrician to join our team. The Department of Medicine for the Elderly (DME) provides general and specialist care for elderly patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient care, liaising with GPs and primary care teams, and leading in the development of specialist services. They will also contribute to the move towards integrated care in the Scottish Borders.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess full GMC Registration and be on the Specialist Register for Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine, or within six months of receiving their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent.
