Job Description:

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate flexibility across different areas. You will have extensive experience managing Cardiology patients and working within a busy service, covering various diagnostic investigations including ECG, Holter monitoring, patch monitoring, Exercise tolerance testing, Transthoracic Echocardiography, and Stress Echocardiography, as well as providing inpatient investigation services.

• BSc Clinical Physiology (or international equivalent)
• Good knowledge of transthoracic echocardiography (Desirable)
• Full BSE/EACVI accreditation (Essential)
• Hands-on experience with Transthoracic echo
• Experience in delegating tasks
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues
• Well-versed in basic diagnostic skills expected of a band 6 cardiac physiologist or higher (Desirable)
• Experience managing small sections of the cardiology service
