Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Mammographer to join the Imaging team in Dundee on a locum basis. The role offers £50 per hour with options for full-time or part-time hours, supporting NHS breast imaging through Ninewells Hospital and mobile screening units across the region.

You will perform high-quality mammography, ensure patient comfort and safety, and maintain comprehensive records in NHS systems while adhering to IR(ME)R and NHS governance standards.

Qualifications

• Mammography screening and imaging expertise.
• Knowledge of breast imaging best practices and NHS Breast Screening Programme standards.
• Commitment to maintaining patient dignity, comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Undertake high-quality screening and symptomatic mammography examinations.
• Perform imaging independently with focus on image quality.
• Work across Ninewells Hospital and mobile units across the region.
• Maintain accurate patient records using NHS systems.
• Comply with IR(ME)R, radiation protection policies and NHS governance.
