Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Mammographer for a flexible locum role in Macclesfield. The post is Band 6/7 level, part-time Thursdays and Fridays, across multiple sites, with ongoing contract.

You will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and support screening and symptomatic mammography services. HCPC registered with at least two years’ mammography experience is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple sites in a supportive

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ mammography experience.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience supporting mammography services, including screening and/or symptomatic work.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple sites.
• Car drivers are preferred due to the multi-site role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mammography examinations, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Support both screening and symptomatic mammography clinics.
• Ensure patients’ safety, comfort and dignity throughout procedures.
• Maintain clear, accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Work in accordance with HCPC standards and professional requirements.
• Deliver high standards of patient-centred care across multiple sites.
