Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work at a GP practice in Seaham. You will autonomously assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations while delivering evidence-based care within a well-organised primary care setting with strong multidisciplinary support.

The role involves running minor illness and acute clinics, long-term condition reviews, telephone triage, independent prescribing, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7 or postgraduate)
  • V300 Independent Prescribing
  • Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings
  • Ability to work autonomously and safely
  • Familiarity with EMIS / SystmOne / Vision
  • Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work for a GP practice in Seaham. This role is ideal for an autonomous clinician seeking flexible sessional work within a well-organised primary care environment, with full support from an established multidisciplinary team.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes. The practice offers a structured workflow, clear expectations and a supportive clinical setup to make each session efficient and manageable.
