Job summary

Menlo Park seeks a Locum ANP/ACP to support a well-established practice near Castle Cary. The dates are Mondays and Thursdays in January (7th–28th). Independent prescribing and EMIS proficiency are required.

You will work with an experienced in-house team of GPs, nurses and support staff, and will perform home visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified for ANP/ACP locum role with NMC registration.
• Experience in primary care and independent prescribing.
• Comfort with autonomous prescribing and clinical decision-making in EMIS.

Responsibilities

• Cover Mondays and Thursdays in January (7th–28th).
• Deliver 15-minute appointments.
• Conduct home visits as required.
• Prescribe independently within professional scope.
• Collaborate with salaried GPs, nurses and admin staff.

Background –We are currently recruiting a Locum ANP/ACP to support a well-established practice with a supportive team for a number of dates in January. The days in question are Mondays and Thursdays in January, from Thursday 7th to Thursday 28th.Candidates should have previous primary care experience, be an independent prescriber, and be confident using EMIS. You will be comfortable working autonomously, including prescribing and clinical decision-making, and will be supported by an experienced in-house team of salaried GPs, nurses, and non-clinical staff.
