Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work with a GP practice in Bushey. You will assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations autonomously within a well-organised primary care setting, with full support from a multidisciplinary team.

This flexible role offers up to 4 days per week with morning and afternoon clinics, and options for long-term block bookings. The successful ANP will have postgraduate NP qualification, V300 prescribing, and recent primary care

Qualifications

• ANP qualification at Level 7 or postgraduate required.
• V300 Independent Prescribing capability is required.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and safely within a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required.
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation.
• Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes. The practice offers a structured workflow, clear expectations and a supportive clinical setup to make each session efficient and manageable.
