Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a GP practice in Camberley. The post offers flexible sessional work with a supportive multidisciplinary team in a well-organised primary care environment.

You will assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, run minor illness clinics, perform long‑term condition reviews, provide independent prescribing, and work autonomously with clear workflows. Up to 4 days per week with morning or afternoon clinics.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
  • V300 Independent Prescribing.
  • Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings.
  • Ability to work autonomously and safely.
  • Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
  • Completing long-term condition reviews where required.
  • Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
  • Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
  • Ordering and interpreting investigations.
  • Clear, accurate clinical documentation.
  • Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work for a GP practice in Camberley.
