Job summary

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work for a GP practice in Egham. This role is ideal for an autonomous clinician seeking flexible sessional work within a well-organised primary care environment, with full support from an established multidisciplinary team.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7 or postgraduate).
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Recent experience in primary or urgent care settings.
• Ability to work autonomously and safely.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne and Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Run minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Complete long-term condition reviews where required.
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations and clear documentation.
• Collaborate with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing long-term condition reviews where required

• Independent prescribing and medication reviews
• Ordering and interpreting investigationsClear, accurate clinical documentation

Requirements
