Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a GP practice in Paignton. The role offers structured, well-supported clinical sessions for an autonomous ACP working in primary care with clear workflows and steady patient demand.

Working alongside GPs, Nurses and wider clinical staff, you will perform comprehensive assessments, make safe clinical decisions and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner training.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.
