Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work within a GP practice in Bognor Regis. The role offers structured, well-supported clinical sessions for an autonomous ACP in primary care.

You will partner with GPs and nurses to assess, diagnose and treat, with prescribing rights where qualified and a focus on safe patient outcomes. Flexible ad-hoc or regular sessions available.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner training is required.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.
