Job summary

Locum Ready seeks an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Princes Risborough. The role supports urgent and routine patient demand within a structured primary care environment, running clinics autonomously and delivering safe decision-making.

You will join an established multidisciplinary team, have strong admin support, and benefit from flexible sessions including mornings and afternoons, with long-term ongoing bookings available.

Qualifications

• ACP qualification Level 7 or postgraduate.
• Background in nursing, paramedic science, physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) preferred.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or UTC settings.
• Confident autonomous clinician with strong decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting acute and same-day access clinics.
• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations.
• Telephone triage and clinical streaming.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Prescribing safely within scope (where qualified).
• Managing follow-up actions, results and referral workflows.
• Documenting clearly using the practice clinical system.
