Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Woking. You will deliver autonomous clinical assessments, make safe decisions, and manage patient care within a structured primary care environment.

You will run your own clinics, support urgent and routine demand, and follow clear pathways with strong administrative support to ensure smooth, efficient session delivery.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7 or postgraduate).
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) preferred.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or UTC settings.

Responsibilities

• Conducting acute and same-day access clinics.
• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations.
• Telephone triage and clinical streaming.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Prescribing safely within scope (where qualified).
• Managing follow-up actions, results and referrals workflows.
• Documenting clearly using the practice clinical system.
