Job summary

CAE's Global Training Standards team seeks a Local Training Standards Lead in Burgess Hill to drive local application of global training standards. You will mentor instructors, analyze audits, and deliver training both online and in person, ensuring regulatory compliance and instructional excellence.

The role requires 3+ years in instructor training, strong knowledge of aviation regulations, and excellent communication to liaise with global and local teams. Regular hours with UK location support.

Qualifications

• Experience training pilots for professional licenses and/or ratings.
• 3+ years delivering or managing instructor training at an ATO/AOC.
• Knowledge of Part FCL/ORA, CFR Part 61, 135, 142 regulations.
• Demonstrated professionalism and strong communication.
• Ability to harmonize global standards across centers.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and schedule global standards procedures locally.
• Assess instructor performance using IPPM/DOI and advise improvements.
• Deliver instructor training sessions online and in person; maintain courseware.
• Provide SME guidance to instructors to align with global policies.
• Coordinate governance and frequent communication with local teams.
