Overview

The Local Marketing Manager will be part of the UKI Local Marketing Team, responsible for developing strategies to win at regional, local, and hyperlocal levels. This involves identifying target audiences, leveraging commercial and consumer insights, and creating relevant strategies for key locations within North England.

Team Structure

The team is divided into Strategy & Media Planning. This role resides within the Strategy team, collaborating closely with Media Planning to set and execute the team's vision. We are a growing team with ambitious plans for 2025, focusing on innovative campaigns and market-leading strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end marketing strategies across North England, tailoring plans around seasonal and customer moments.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, UKI Marketing, and Insight teams to evaluate regional needs and opportunities.
  • Develop insights, analysis, and recommendations to guide business planning at various levels.
  • Lead UKI-wide local marketing initiatives, working with stakeholders across the company.
  • Create insightful reporting and measurement frameworks to inform strategy and improve outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of marketing or agency experience executing TTL campaigns.
  • Experience in local marketing roles, understanding customer relevance and working with Commercial teams.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to interpret data for insight-driven strategies.
  • Extensive multi-channel knowledge, including social, earned, and owned channels.
  • Proven ability to optimize campaigns and provide future recommendations.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for managing cross-departmental stakeholders.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to deliver results efficiently and effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to London every 6 weeks.
