Job summary

Niyaa People in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Kitchen Fitter to install kitchens in occupied social housing properties across the area. This is long-term, ongoing work with one property completed per day and an ASAP start.

You'll handle kitchen installations, fit units and worktops, and carry out basic carpentry. You should have a CSCS Card, own tools and transport, and be able to work independently while leaving each property clean and ready for handover.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Kitchen Fitter or similar carpentry role.
• Experience installing kitchens and fittings in occupied properties.
• Background in carpentry or as a carpenter is preferred.
• Experience working in social housing or domestic properties is advantageous.
• Must have a valid CSCS Card.
• Owner tools and reliable transport are required.
• Good communication when working in occupied properties.

Responsibilities

• Install kitchens in occupied social housing properties across Wolverhampton.
• Fit kitchen units, worktops and related fixtures.
• Complete kitchen installations to a high standard.
• Work on one property per day.
• Carry out general carpentry where needed.
• Work independently within occupied properties.
• Leave each property clean and ready for completion.
