Job summary

Black Point Recruitment Ltd. is urgently recruiting an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver for a Southwark-based waste management contract in London. You will drive on scheduled routes, lead a team of loaders, and ensure efficient, compliant waste collections.

Suitable candidates will have a valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Category C), CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with prior dustcart/refuse driving experience and solid knowledge of UK regulations. Immediate start and local work offered.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Category C) required.
• CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Dustcart / refuse driving experience essential.
• Knowledge of UK driving regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 dustcart on scheduled routes.
• Lead a team of refuse loaders.
• Complete residential and commercial waste collections.
• Perform vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with waste regulations and safety standards.
• Complete route paperwork and documentation.
