Job summary

Black Point Recruitment Ltd. is urgently recruiting HGV Class 2 Dustcart Drivers for East Lothian roles. You will deliver residential and commercial waste, work with a loader team, and complete routes safely in a busy waste management operation.

We offer £16.00/hour, with £17.93 including holiday pay, weekly pay, ongoing full-time hours, and consistent weekday shifts. Suitable for drivers with Class 2 licence, CPC, Tachograph card, and UK driving knowledge; immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Category C).
• CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous dustcart / refuse driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of UK driving and safety regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 dustcart / refuse vehicle
• Completing scheduled waste and recycling collections
• Working alongside and supporting a team of refuse loaders
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Following all health & safety and waste management regulations
• Completing all route paperwork and documentation accurately
• Delivering a professional and reliable waste collection service
