Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for daytime shifts around Loughborough, Leicestershire. This temporary role offers reliable, local work with tipper and tramper tasks.

You will safely operate tipper-equipped Class 1 vehicles, complete vehicle checks, and follow delivery instructions. The position provides consistent work for the right driver with weekly pay and a Wednesday payout.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 entitlement.
• Experience driving tippers.
• Experience undertaking tramper work.
• Good knowledge of transport safety procedures.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage scheduled journeys.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle.
• Complete tipper and tramper assignments.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after journeys.
• Follow delivery, collection and transport instructions.
• Comply with road safety, legal and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively when required.
