Job summary

Booker is seeking a delivery driver to join the local team in Charlton. You will drive a Class 2 vehicle, build relationships with our regular customers, and ensure on-time deliveries with a great service. The role involves local driving and a smart, presentable appearance.

Working 45 hours per week on an Any 5 from 7 pattern, some weekend work; overtime opportunities available. Fully funded CPC training hours provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations and road safety.
• Resilient under pressure with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a clean and presentable vehicle, inside and out.
• Loading and unloading the vehicle at customer premises.
• Ensuring safe loading and unloading and proper use of delivery equipment.
• Assessing H&S risks and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Adhering to GDPR and company policies at all times.
• Leading by example and representing Booker positively.
• Supporting branch function when not on the road.
