Job summary

Booker Group seeks a delivery driver to join our local delivery team in Exeter. You will drive locally, load and unload goods, and build strong relationships with regular customers to ensure timely deliveries and high service quality.

The role involves a 7-day operation with some weekend work; fully funded CPC training hours are provided. Excellent interpersonal skills and a good level of literacy and numeracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Cat C / 18T Licence / Class 2 required.
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years).
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Drive locally and build relationships with regular customers.
• Take part in a 7-day operation with possible weekend work.
