Job summary

Booker is seeking a delivery driver to join our local team, working about 45 hours per week with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts. You will help ensure timely deliveries and build strong relationships with regular customers.

You will be part of a frontline delivery team, representing Booker with a professional appearance and a focus on customer service. A Class 2 license and safe-delivery experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving experience required.
• Understanding safe use of delivery equipment.
• Knowledge of vehicle defect policy.
• Familiarity with PDAs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Smart, professional appearance; embody 'The Face of Booker'.
• Drive safely in a clean, presentable vehicle.
• Safely use delivery equipment (cages, straps, tail lift).
• Understand vehicle defect policy and report issues.
• Assess health & safety risks during deliveries for safe, timely service.
• Load and unload safely at customer premises.
• Follow company policies and GDPR guidelines.
• Lead by example and uphold Booker values.
• Support branch when not on road (vehicle care, loading).
