DPD Group is hiring a Class 2 / 18 Tonne Driver in Preston for a full-time role. You will handle multi-drop collections and deliveries with a focus on reliability and efficiency, using Saturn handheld devices and route planning software.

The role supports a stable career path within a leading parcel delivery company. The driver will operate a Class 2 vehicle, maintain safety and compliance, and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries across the local area.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Category C (Class 2) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Must have a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong geographical knowledge of Preston and surrounding area.
• Flexible, customer-focused attitude and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across local area with time-sensitive deliveries.
• Maintain professionalism and meet time-critical deadlines while following road laws and company policies.
• Operate using handheld Saturn devices and route planning software.
• Ensure the 18T vehicle is safe, roadworthy and presentable.
• Collaborate with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure on-time parcel delivery.
