Job summary

Places for People is hiring a qualified Bricklayer to perform bricklaying repairs across domestic properties, both internally and externally, within our community areas.

You will carry out structural and cosmetic brickwork to high standards, comply with health and safety guidelines, and work with supervisors and teams to meet deadlines. A clear route to apprenticeship support is included.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Bricklaying.
• Experience working as a Bricklayer, ideally within social housing or domestic properties.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based within the advertised postcode.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out bricklaying repairs across domestic properties both internally and externally.
• Completing structural and cosmetic brickwork repairs while maintaining high quality standards.
• Working to specifications and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Collaborating with supervisors, schedulers, and wider teams to meet deadlines.
• Recording work activity and completing required documentation.
• Supporting apprentices and contributing to team performance and KPIs.
