Job summary

Newcastle City Council is seeking qualified Bricklayers to join the Planned Maintenance team. You will undertake repairs, removal and replacement of concrete and masonry on a variety of internal and external surfaces, using a van provided for work duties.

The role involves working on diverse properties with a focus on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will report to a Repairs & Voids Manager and may participate in overtime and standby arrangements as required, within a Local

• Time served bricklayer with demonstrable experience.
• Ability to work both independently and in a multi-skilled team.

• Carry out repair, removal and replacement of concrete and masonry products on internal and external parts of properties.
• Work on a range of properties and schemes within Planned Maintenance.
