Job summary

DPDgroup is seeking a delivery driver to own a designated local route in Glasgow. You will be delivering 40–50 stops daily, using Saturn handheld devices for tracking, and providing a friendly, high-quality customer experience.

Applicants should hold a valid 7.5 Tonne licence and DQC/CPC accreditation, be physically fit for loading and unloading, and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous role on real-world streets.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting heavy parcels.
• Customer-focused with a respectful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with safety and efficiency.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and progress.
• Be the friendly face at drop-offs and greetings to customers.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks.
• Deliver to around 40–50 stops per day while maintaining service standards.
