Job summary

DPD is seeking a delivery driver for local routes, operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle and using Saturn handheld devices to manage deliveries. You will be the friendly face customers see, ensuring timely, safe, and professional service on roughly 40–50 stops per day.

Ideal candidates have a valid C1 licence with DQC/CPC accreditation, about 6 months of relevant driving experience, and a strong emphasis on lifting safely and helping customers with a positive attitude.

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes, keeping safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and stay ahead of progress.
• Be the friendly face customers see daily and provide excellent service.
• Load and unload parcels using sacks, barrows, and hand trucks with care and safety.
