Job summary

DPD Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a delivery driver for a local 7.5 Tonne route. You will own the route, handling 40–50 stops daily with a focus on timely, friendly service for customers.

Expect to use Saturn handheld devices, load/unload with hand trucks, and maintain safety and professionalism on busy local roads. A C1 licence with CPC is required, plus some driving experience.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting involved in the job.

Responsibilities

• Drive a local 7.5 Tonne route and manage 40–50 stops daily.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track progress and deliveries.
• Load and unload parcels with hand trucks or sack barrows, staying safe.
• Provide a friendly, professional customer experience on every delivery.
