Job summary

Pontoon is seeking a detail-oriented Loans Administrator to join its Corporate Trust team in Manchester on an eight-month hybrid basis. The role focuses on cash reconciliation, loan and bond portfolio administration, and ensuring timely settlement of funds.

A proactive, deadline-driven approach and experience in finance are valued. The position is Manchester-based with four days in the office and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Interest in pursuing a career in financial services.
• Proactive and able to meet deadlines consistently.
• Proficient PC literacy, especially Excel.
• Prior experience in finance or banking is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cash reconciliation of client operating accounts.
• Administer loan and bond portfolios with meticulous records.
• Monitor receipt and disbursement of funds and settlements.
• Execute fund transfers accurately and timely.
• Maintain communication with external parties (portfolio managers, agents, auditors).
• Support Client Service Manager with contractual obligations.
• Participate in projects including new deal closings.
