Job summary

Aligra Personnel Ltd is recruiting for a Quarry Operative / Loading Shovel Operator in the Bournemouth & Poole area. The role offers a full-time position with a safety-first employer and opportunities for career progression.

You will operate and maintain quarry equipment, feed the plant with loading shovels, complete maintenance tasks, and uphold high safety standards in a busy site environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quarrying or related industries.
• Mobile plant qualifications (loading shovel and LGV a plus).
• Strong health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain quarry and processing plant equipment.
• Feed the processing plant using mobile loading shovels and other mobile plant.
• Perform planned maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Accurately operate the weighbridge as required.
• Uphold and promote company Health & Safety standards.
• Work flexibly and collaboratively within the team.

• Competitive salary: £34,000 per year (approx. £654 per week)
• Set working hours: Monday to Friday 7am-5pm, plus alternate Saturdays 7am-12pm (as required)

• Operate and maintain quarry and processing plant equipment
• Use mobile plant, including loading shovels, to feed the processing plant
