A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd seeks a Loading Bay Operative for 2pm-10pm Tuesday to Saturday at Talbot Green, South Wales. The role focuses on the accurate and efficient loading of customer orders onto company vehicles and related depot tasks.

You will prepare vehicles, ensure drivers’ run-sheets, documents and keys are distributed on completion, and work within our values and safety policies. Numeracy and literacy are essential; FLT and full driving licence are desirable.

Role overview

Loading Bay Operative - 2pm-10pm Tuesday - Saturday 40 hours per week. £13.57 per standard hour (Performance Related) Location: Talbot Green (South Wales)

Job Purpose

The accurate and efficient assembly of customer orders, replenishment, ferrying and bulk storage control within the depot.

Key Accountabilities

• The accurate loading of customer orders onto company vehicles
• Ensuring that drivers’ run-sheets, documentation and vehicle keys are distributed correctly on completion of loading
• The preparation of vehicles prior to loading
