Job summary

Blakemore Trade Partners in Bedford (MK41 7BJ) is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support accurate and efficient order assembly. Shift runs 07:00–17:00, 40 hours per week across 4 days out of 7, including weekends, in a temperature-controlled 4°C environment.

You will pick, pack and load orders, rotate stock, and help with other warehouse tasks as needed. Desirable FLT (Reach) licence offers a £0.60ph premium.

Responsibilities

• Accurate assembly of customers' orders
• Picking and loading goods onto cages and pallets in a safe and manageable manner
• Adhering to stock rotational procedures
• Performing accurate and efficient duties within other warehouse functions
• Accurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting dispatch
• The accurate loading of customer orders onto company vehicles
• Ensuring that drivers’ run-sheets, documentation and vehicle keys are distributed correctly on completion of loading
• The preparation of vehicles prior to loading
