Unitrust is seeking a professional Loading Bay Officer for a prestigious contract in Fitzrovia, London. You will manage loading bay operations, lead the site team, and ensure adherence to assignment instructions and health & safety policies.

The role requires a valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) and Banksman accreditation is preferred; you will build relationships with tenants and contractors, manage deliveries, and keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• A 5-year checkable work history in security and/or hospitality.
• Interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
• Reliable, punctual and able to multitask under pressure.
• Proactive, confident and able to follow instructions and use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the security contract at the client’s premises.
• Act as site lead for the loading bay/service hub and related issues.
• Ensure instructions and H&S protocols are followed.
• Build relationships with tenants, suppliers and contractors on site.
• Record incidents, manage deliveries, and handle rosters and inquiries.

Job Title: Loading Bay Officer

Location: Fitzrovia

Unitrust are looking to recruit professional, dedicated security loading bay officer to deliver a best-in-class service to a new prestigious contract in Fitzrovia, London. Unitrust is an exciting security company, whom have a large footprint of clients across London. You must hold a Security Guarding or Door Supervisor SIA License to work within our business and with the security supervisor role, an approved Banksman accreditation is required, and knowledge of a delivery management system is desirable.

Key Information:

Job Title – Loading Bay Officer

Location – Fitzrovia, London Rate - £15.75 per hour.

Shifts - 07:00 - 19:00 (12hrs)

Hours - 60 hours per week

ROLE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the management of the security contract at the client’s premises.
• Be the site lead with all issues relating to the loading bay/service hub.
• Ensure Assignment Instructions are always adhered to.
• Ensure all operatives within your AOR follow all site requirements and H&S protocols.
• Develop relationships onsite with tenants, suppliers & contractors
• To comply with company health and safety procedures.

Duties

• Investigate any incidents.
• To record and report all incidents & accidents
• To keep security records and logs up to date.
• Admin duties to include assistance with compliance documentation
• To deal with staff and visitors enquiries and requests.
• Initialise call out procedures in the event of a critical incident.
• To comply with applicable environmental, health and safety policies.
• Early identification and mitigation of any threats potentially impacting on the building.
• Have an outstanding knowledge of the premises.
• Record details of any suspected criminal activity.
• Booking in and management of deliveries on site.
• To undertake any reasonable instruction received from the client or Unitrust management.
